The 1st Congress on Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in the Tourism Sector (EEST), organised by the Government of the Balearic Islands and Palma City Council, together with the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH), El Instalador, Segitur and AENOR, was held at the Auditorium in Palma de Mallorca on 17 and 18 June with the aim of raising awareness among companies and public bodies so that they can orient their infrastructures towards a more intelligent model of design and management that will facilitate the transition towards the so-called 'Smart Cities'.
